We hold monthly meetings during which we are frequently joined by guests from around the education and technology worlds, who share their knowledge with the group during our presentation period, then discuss their work or perspective with us. Additionally, we collectively work to evaluate AI tools, develop and refine AI- and technology-related policies, and meaningfully integrate AI into existing pedagogy and instruction.
Districts including Jericho, Scarsdale, East Williston, Lake Placid, New Rochelle, and many others are current members. We recently began accepting RICs and have had several join our group recently. As of this writing, there are 34 member districts/RICs.
Past guests have included Jenny Maxwell, Head of Education at Grammarly, Amanda Bickerstaff, CEO of AI for Education, Tara Nattrass, Managing Director of Innovation Strategy for ASCD+ISTE, Arman Jaffer, CEO of Brisk Teaching, and many other notable figures.
